The major objectives of the workshop were:

  • To strengthen students’ algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • To introduce logical thinking and coding strategies
  • To improve aptitude-building techniques
  • To provide hands-on exposure to no code application development
  • To introduce modern no code platforms for mobile and web applications
  • To improve effective English speaking skills for interviews
  • To enhance students’ technical competence and employability

The workshop helped students understand the importance of combining technical knowledge, communication skills and practical learning for career success.

Welcome Address

The workshop commenced with a warm welcome to the participants. Dr. S. Senthil, Vice Principal, delivered the Welcome Address.

He introduced the chief guests and resource persons to the gathering and highlighted their expertise. He encouraged the students to make the best use of the learning opportunity and actively participate in the sessions.

His address gave a positive and motivating beginning to the Two Day Workshop.

Industry Academia Collaboration

The workshop was organized as part of the Industry Academia Collaboration initiative. Such collaborations help students connect classroom learning with industry expectations.

Through this workshop, students received guidance from resource persons from FACE Prep Campus. The sessions helped participants understand practical approaches to problem-solving, application development and interview preparation.

The collaboration strengthened the department’s efforts to improve students’ technical skills and career readiness.

Day 1: Think Algo

The first day of the Two Day Workshop focused on the topic “Think Algo.” The objective of the session was to strengthen students’ algorithmic thinking and problem-solving ability.

The sessions were handled by resource persons from FACE Prep Campus. They guided students through algorithmic concepts, logical reasoning, coding strategies and aptitude-building methods.

The first day helped students understand how structured thinking is important for solving programming and placement-related problems.

Day 1 Resource Persons and Sessions

The sessions on Think Algo were conducted by the following resource persons:

  • Mrs. T. Rushmitha: 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
  • Ms. Nandhana: 11.30 a.m. – 01.00 p.m.
  • Ms. Sandhiya: 01.30 p.m. – 03.30 p.m.

All the resource persons conducted interactive sessions and encouraged students to participate actively in discussions and problem-solving activities.

Algorithmic Thinking and Problem Solving

The Think Algo session helped students understand the importance of algorithmic thinking in Computer Science. Students were guided to break down problems, think logically and identify efficient steps to reach a solution.

The resource persons explained coding strategies and aptitude-building techniques in a practical manner. The session helped students realize that strong problem-solving ability is essential for programming, placements and professional growth.

The activities conducted during the session improved students’ confidence and analytical skills.

Day 2: No Code App

The second day of the Two Day Workshop focused on the topic “No Code App.” The session was handled by Mr. V. Anto Jegan from FACE Prep Campus.

The sessions were conducted from 09.30 a.m. to 01.00 p.m. and 01.30 p.m. to 03.00 p.m. The resource person demonstrated how modern no code platforms help users design and develop mobile and web applications without extensive programming knowledge.

The session gave students hands-on exposure to emerging application development methods.

Hands-on Learning in No Code App Development

During the no code app development session, students learned how applications can be created using modern tools without writing complex code. The resource person demonstrated the process of designing and developing basic mobile and web applications.

Students gained practical knowledge of no code development tools and understood how such platforms are useful for quick application creation, prototyping and project development.

This hands-on session helped students explore new technology trends and develop confidence in application design.

Effective English Speaking Skills for Interviews

As part of the second day, the workshop also focused on effective English speaking skills for interviews. This session helped students understand the importance of communication in placement and professional life.

Students were guided on how to speak with clarity, present themselves confidently and respond effectively during interviews. The session emphasized that communication skills are essential along with technical knowledge.

This part of the Two Day Workshop was highly useful for improving employability and interview readiness.

Interactive Learning Experience

The workshop was highly interactive. Students actively participated in problem-solving activities, discussions and hands-on exercises.

The resource persons encouraged students to ask questions, share ideas and practise the concepts explained during the sessions. This interactive approach made the workshop lively, practical and student-centered.

The students benefited from direct learning, demonstrations and active engagement.

Role of FACE Prep Campus

The resource persons from FACE Prep Campus played an important role in making the workshop informative and practical. They shared useful knowledge on algorithmic thinking, coding strategies, aptitude development, no code applications and interview communication.

Their sessions helped students understand the skills required for placement preparation and industry readiness. The practical approach of the resource persons made the workshop highly beneficial.
