The college is located in a beautiful 50 acre campus within the city. The institution has become a byword for academic and extra-curricular development, under the inspiring leadership of the current President, Shri. Ilango Vetrivel.

Academic Excellence is achieved through our highly qualified faculty, many of whom represent our college in the Board of Studies at MS University. Our faculty focus on effective teaching methodologies, combining traditional lectures with the latest IT tools. Together, these efforts have produced a stream of University Rank Holders from our college.
Apart from traditional classroom lectures, our institution also focuses on providing a well-rounded build-up of practical knowledge. This is achieved through the various Conferences, Seminars and Guest Lectures organized by the respective departments. For more hands-on learning, the students are exposed to various Workshops and Exhibitions and carryout Consultancy Assignments for the Industry.
Research activities in the institution has taken off greatly in the past five years. From 3 research centres in 2016, the number of departments carrying out Research has gone up to 9. From single digit enrolled scholars in 2016, the institution has well over 100 scholars carrying out research work under highly qualified faculty. The number of Papers Published yearly has gone up and similarly various minor Research Projects are being carried out for the industrial sector.
Apart from building academic knowledge, the students are encouraged to participate in the various co-curricular activities available in the college. The institution has very active NCC Units, several NSS Units, very active Cultural Center, Sports Center and Literary Club.
