RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS

1. PUNCTUALITY

  • College Timings are :
    Shift I                :    08.00 a.m to 01.00 p.m
    Shift II               :    01.10 p.m to 05.30 p.m
    General Shift   :     09.30 a.m to 03.30 p.m
  • Late comers must obtain permission from their HOD before entering the class.
  • Repeat offenders will be penalized.

2. IDENTITY CARD

  • Students should wear their identity card at all times when inside the campus.
  • Students without ID card will not be permitted entry into the campus.
  • New and replacement ID cards are issued at the college office.
  • Students must surrender their ID cards at the end of their degree program

3. ATTENDANCE AND LEAVE

  • Regular attendance is mandatory.
  • In case of family function, prior permission from HOD must be obtained.
  • In case of medical leave, permission must be obtained from HOD after coming back to college.
  • Minimum 90% attendance is required to appear for University exams.
  • Students will be removed from rolls if absent for more than 7 days without proper intimation.

4. RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Ragging is prohibited and will lead to dismissal from the college.
  • Misuse of cellphone cameras within campus will lead to suspension of the student.
  • Smoking, drugs and alcohol are prohibited inside the campus violations will lead to dismissal.
  • Dis-respect f fellow students may lead to suspension.
  • Causing damage to the college property will lead to suspension r dismissal.
  • Students are strictly advised to park their vehicles in the parking lot only.

5. TWO WHEELER PARKING AREA

  • Students must wear helmets when entering campus on bikes.
  • Students must have proper driving license to bring bikes t campus.
  • Road Safety is critical and must be followed by all student.
  • Student without helmet / valid license will not be permitted to bring bikes inside campus

6. MAIN OFFICE AT ADMIN BLOCK

  • Office working hours are from 09.00am to 04.00pm.
  • Parents Visiting time: 09.00 to 09.30am and 03.30 to 04.00pm
  • Application for the issue of TC, Conduct Certificate and Course
  • Filled applications should be submitted to the office from 09.00 to 09.30am only.
  • Students can collect their Certificates after 03.30pm on the same day.
  • There must be no fee arrear for issue of Certificates.
  • Conduct Certificate will not be issued to students who have discontinued their course.
  • Fee will be collected from 09.30am to 04.30pm.
  • Being absent will not hold an excuse for non-payment of fees at the appropriate time.
  • Fees once paid under no circumstances will be refunded.

7. GJ BLOCK SF OFFICE

  • SF office working hours are between 08.00am to 05.00pm.
  • Parents visiting time are between 01.00pm to 04.00pm.
  • Fee collection for all SF students will be made in Society Office at Admin Block.
  • Fee will be collected on all working days between 09.00am and 05.00pm.
  • Society office working hours are between 09.00am to 05.00pm.
  • Application for TC, Conduct Certificate and Course Certificate must be made in prescribed form available in the office.
  • Filled application should be submitted to the office between 09.00 and 09.30am only.
  • Students can collect their Certificates after 03.30pm on the same day.
  • Conduct Certificate will not be issued to students who have discontinued their course.
  • Being absent will not be an excuse for non-payment of fees at the appropriate time.
  • All certificates will be issued only after the arrear fees are cleared.
  • Fees once paid under no circumstances will be refunded

8. CENTRAL LIBRARY

  • Central Library Working Hours : 8.45 am to 4.30 pm
  • Book Issue Timing : 9.00 am to 4.30 pm
  • Personal belongings should be kept in the racks provided at the entrance
  • Students must record their entry through Electronic Gate Entry System
  • Outsiders can use the Library with the Principal’s permission
  • STRICT SILENCE should be maintained inside the Library
  • Students found sleeping, talking loudly or behaving in improper manner shall be penalized
  • Students may borrow books for 30 days
  • The books must be returned or renewed on or before the due date
  • Penal charges of Rs. 5/- per day will be levied for overdue books
  • Students must satisfy themselves about physical condition of the book before borrowing
  • The last borrower shall be held responsible for any damage noticed during return
  • Damaged books will have to be replaced by the borrower
  • Students are allowed to borrow maximum of ten books
  • Library card is strictly non-transferable
  • Loss of Library Card must be reported to the Librarian immediately
  • Reference books will be issued overnight and weekend basis
  • Do not misplace the book from their position in the racks.

9. BOTANY AND ZOOLOGY LABORATORIES

  • Students are directed to prepare for the entire practical.
  • The instrument and equipment provided by the department must be carefully handled.
  • Misuse of chemicals provided by the department is forbidden.
  • The work table and the instrument used must be kept clean and hygienic.
  • The equipment must be carefully handled.
  • The damages caused by the students must be borne by themselves.
  • The Department will prepare the sample f spotter.
  • Field based study will be arranged for the specimen collection.

10. MICRO-BIOLOGY LABORATORY

  • Students are directed to prepare for the entire practical.
  • The instrument and equipment provided by the department must be carefully handled.
  • Abuse of chemicals provided by the department is forbidden.
  • The work table and the instrument used must be kept clean and hygienic.
  • The costlier equipment must be carefully handled.
  • If any damages caused by student, the cost will have to be borne by the student.
  • The samples of spotter are prepared by the department itself.
  • Field based study will be arranged for the specimen.

11. CHEMISTRY LABORATORY

  • Student are required to bring their observation and record notebook without fail.
  • Students are advised to use overcoat and wear safety glasses inside the laboratory.
  • Students are not permitted to taste or touch any re-agent.
  • Students should not inhale any gas or vapors directly.
  • Students are advised to use droppers for transferring solutions.
  • In case of any accident, students should report to the faculty immediately.

12. PHYSICS LABORATORY

  • Students are expected to follow the directions carefully given by the faculty.
  • Be alert and attentive at all times.
  • In case, instrument is not working, please inform the faculty immediately.
  • Dress appropriately and avoid loose fitting cloth.
  • Use goggles while heating.
  • Use the experimental apparatus with care for the purpose for which it is intended.
  • Do not perform un-authorized experiments.
  • Ask the instructor t cross-check electrical circuits before turning on the power.
  • After the practicals, return the equipment in good condition.
  • Leave the work table and lab area clean and tidy.

13. COMPUTER SCIENCE LABORATORY

  • Please remove footwear before entering the Laboratory.
  • Always keep the computer laboratory clean and tidy.
  • Bringing food or beverages into the laboratory is prohibited.
  • Maintain silence and refrain from disturbing other users.
  • Do not access, tamper, or delete files of other users.
  • Do not set up new accounts without authorization.
  • Do not print documents except those authorized by the faculty.
  • Do not run any software that is not meant for academic purpose
