Introduction
The Student Induction Programme (SIP) for the first-year aided students of the academic year 2026–2027 commenced successfully on 16 June 2026 at Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi. The programme was organized by the Department of English with the objective of helping newly admitted students understand the academic environment, institutional culture, support systems, and opportunities available within the campus.
The induction programme was carefully designed to provide students with a meaningful introduction to college life while preparing them for the academic and personal challenges of higher education. During the session, students were provided with a comprehensive overview of the institution, including its administration, management structure, academic regulations, examination procedures, discipline policies, student support systems, and campus facilities.
