Palm Tree Seed Plantation – NSS Unit 218

National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No.218 has initiated the 5000 Palm Tree Seed Plantation in connection with 1 Crore Palm Tree Seed Plantation of Tamilnadu Government and Tamilnadu State NSD Cell which is held at Roach Park Beach, Thoothukudi on 01.10.2023. This work is done with support of Thoothukudi City Corporation and We Can Trust, Thoothukudi. Mr.N.P.Jegan, Honorable Meyar, Thoothukudi City Corporation and Mr.C.Dinesh Kumar, I.A.S inaugurated the plantation of palm tree seed and motivated the volunteers towards tree plantation. 40 NSS Volunteers, 20 Volunteers of We Can Trust and 20 Corporation employees have actively participated.
