Outreach Program on Reach Your Dream – Commerce Dept.

The Department of Commerce (SF) in Collaboration with YRC successfully organized an outreach program titled “Reach Your Dream” on June 28, 2024, at Government Hr. Sec. School, Vaalvallan. This program aimed to provide career guidance to 11th and 12th commerce students from Government Hr. Sec. school, Vaalvallan helping them navigate their future professional paths. The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Preethi. L, III B.Com general A, who highlighted the importance of early career planning and the diverse opportunities available to commerce students. Followed by Ms. Aishwarya Banu. P III B.Com general A, who effectively elaborated on various undergraduate degrees that can be persued. Ms. Thanga Suba. S, III B.Com general A, highlighted on the best PG degrees, followed by Mr. Nagavishwa, enlightening the students on professional courses. Mr. Pandara Perumal.S enriched them on the various tactics to clear interviews and be placed. Finally the session Came to an end with vote of thanks. The YRC team students as a part of environment Enrichment gifted sapling to the school and planted the same in the school. The event was under the Guidance of Mrs. Machado Sneha John, Assistant Professor of Commerce and YRC Co-ordinator and Dr. R. Siva Sundari. The total student beneficiaries were 63.
