MOU: Port City Nidhi Ltd. Thoothukudi – Dept. of BBA

As a part of MoU with Port City Nidhi Ltd., the Department of Business Administration, Kamaraj College, successfully initiated on-the-job training programme (30 Hours Certificate Programme) for the students specializing in Banking and Finance for the Academic Year 2024 – 2025. Based on this knowledge partnership,on 28.6.2024, The Department of Business Administration has started and taken initiative to provide practical exposure and enhance the employability of students through immersive experience in the banking sector.Out of 33 students of II BBA, the students are divided into 2 batches containing 8 groups.Each group comprising of 4 students. At present,1st batch students is assigned to a different branch of Port City Nidhi Ltd., ensuring a comprehensive and diverse on-the-job training experience. On 5.7.2024, the students underwent the training session into their respective branches. Students are gaining hands-on experience in financial transactions, including processing deposits, withdrawals and Loan applications.The on-the-job training program organized by Port City Nidhi Ltd. in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration, Kamaraj College has been instrumental in providing students with valuable industry experience. By working in real banking environments, students are gaining practical skills and knowledge that significantly enhance their career prospects in the banking and finance sector.
