Industrial Academy Collaboration Programme on Highlighting the Importance of Legal Literacy

The Departments of Economics (SF) and Public Administration, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, organized anIndustrial Academy Collaboration Programme on the topic “Highlighting the Importance of Legal Literacy”on 21 October 2026 at 12:35 PM in the Bharathiyar Block. The resource person, Ms. R. Arunadevi Ramesh Pandian, B.A., LL.B., Advocate and General Secretary of Our Country Our People Our Future Party, Thoothukudi, addressed the students on the importance of legal awareness in everyday life. The session highlighted the need to understand basic legal rights, responsibilities and the role of law in protecting citizens. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about legal literacy and encourage them to become informed and responsible citizens. The session provided valuable insights into the importance of understanding the law and applying legal knowledge in daily life.The programme was attended by students and faculty members of the departments and served as a useful learning opportunity.
