Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Programme on Innovation for Sustainable Development

The Department of Economics (SF) and Public Administration, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, organized an Indian Knowledge System (IKS) programme on the topic “Innovation for Sustainable Development” on 21 October 2026 at 11:35 AM at the GJ Block. The resource person, Dr. S. Sathakkutti, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, addressed the students on the importance of innovation in achieving sustainable development. The session highlighted the need for innovative ideas, responsible practices and sustainable approaches for the betterment of society and the environment. The programme began with the welcome address by Dr. K. Karuppaiah. The session provided students with valuable insights into sustainable development and encouraged them to understand the role of innovation in addressing present-day challenges.The programme was successfully organized with the support of the faculty members and student coordinators of the departments.
