Guest Lecture on Role of Proteins and Nucleic Acids in Biochemical Living System – Dept. of Chemistry

Guest Lecture was conducted by the PG and Research Department of Chemistry on 16.09.2024 from 10 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. on the topic “Role of proteins and nucleic acids in Biochemical Living System” at Seminar Hall (GJ block), Kamaraj College. The program was started with Tamilthai Vazhthu. Prof. Dr. G. Arunkumar, Proprietor, Arun Biolab, Thoothukudi was acted as the Resource person of the program. The HOD, Dr. N. Chandra Lekha, introduced the resource person and honoured with a momento. He spoke in detail about the Biochemical living system. The session was highly interactive with Dr. G. Arunkumar engaging with the students by asking questions and clarifying their doubts. The feedback from the students indicates that they found the session beneficial, and our department UG & PG students participated, gaining knowledge about the significance of proteins and nucleic acids. The program commenced with a welcome address by Miss. Annite Bency of II M.Sc., and the vote of thanks was delivered by Vijaya Sankar from II B.Sc., and the entire program was effectively anchored by our department students council members. The National Anthem marked the end of the successful program.
