Overview of the Capacity Building Programme for Non Teaching Staff

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Kamaraj College organized a Capacity Building Programme for Non Teaching Staff from 01 December 2025 to 05 December 2025. The five day training sessions were conducted at the Seminar Hall and Computer Science Lab in the GN Block. The aim of the programme was to strengthen the digital knowledge, administrative efficiency, and reporting skills of the non teaching staff. Around 60 staff members actively participated and benefited from this carefully planned training initiative.

The programme was designed in alignment with the institutional vision of continuous quality improvement. It also supported the broader mission of the IQAC, which focuses on enhancing the operational and academic standards of the college. This report provides a detailed overview of the sessions, the objectives, the resource persons, and the outcomes of the Capacity Building Programme for Non Teaching Staff.

The training strengthened the administrative skills of the non teaching staff and improved their ability to work independently.

The third and fourth days of the Capacity Building Programme for Non Teaching Staff focused on stress free office practices and work life balance. These sessions were designed to help non teaching staff maintain a calm and productive working environment.

The speakers explained how to prioritize tasks, manage time, communicate effectively, and handle pressure during peak academic periods. Practical tips were shared on maintaining a positive attitude, avoiding workplace conflicts, and creating a supportive office culture.

Participants appreciated these sessions because they addressed real challenges faced in everyday administrative functioning. The training helped them understand how to work more efficiently while also taking care of their mental and physical well being.
