World Sparrow Day

NSS Unit Nr. 181 and Enviro Club jointly organized and conducted and awareness program for School Students on March 20 in the event of World Sparrow Day. An awareness was created on the conservation of the endangered species and about establishing food, grains and water sources for the birds in the upcoming summer. Mr. K. Mani Ganesh, Secretary of Thoothukudi Silambam Sports Association participated in the program and initiated the work of placing food, grains and drinking water trays for Birds between the Trees and Gardens.
