Workshop: The Art of Learning English – English Dept.

The PG and Research Department of English organised a one day Workshop on “The Art of Learning English”( 19-9-2023). The Speaker was Mr. R.Ramachandran, faculty from Anna Institute of Management, Madurai.All the Science and commerce students (l&ll yrs) participated in it and got benefitted. The students enjoyed the intellectual feat of the speaker with much appreciation and enjoyment. Three Competitions were held towards the commemoration of the Teachers day and the Chief Guest distributed the prizes and certificates of it. The following students got prizes:

The Students Association members made all arrangements with the guidance of the Staff Organizers-Dr.T.Karpagavalli, Mrs.Ummu Jasmine, Mr.P.Anand and Dr A.Alangara Ashok. The workshop helped the students to understand the different skills and techniques for learning. Different Activities were introduced to the students to install in them the quest for learning English.The English Literary Association members gave the introduction of the Chief Guest, Master of Ceremony and the vote of thanks.
