Workshop on Significance of Energy Sector in Economic Development – Economic Dept.

The Department of Economics, Kamaraj College organized a one day Workshop on “SIGNIFICANCE OF ENERGY SECTOR IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT” on 22 August, 2023 in the GJ Block Seminar Hall. The Workshop focussed on the determination and self-motivation for the students. The programme started at 10:00 am with a welcome address by S.Pradavus of III BA Economics. The dignitaries on the dias were Dr.R.Muthu Subramanian, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Ambai Arts & Science College, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli. Dr.A.Arunachalarajan,Vice Principal, Kamaraj College, and Dr.S.Raman,The Head, Department of Economics(SF),Kamaraj College. The chief Guest was given a memento and a shawl as a token of extolment by the students of Economics(SF). The Keynote address was given by Dr.R.Muthu Subramanian. He shared his idealized experiences and he exhorted the students to travail in the right time for the best outcome. The Energy is a critical component. It is widely utilized in agricultural and allied fields such as the manufacturing and delivery of fertilizers insecticides and farm machinery. M.Gowtham of III BA Economics(SF) delivered the vote of thanks. A total number of 79 students and the Faculties participated in the workshop .
