Workshop on Recent trends in Archaeology – History Dept.

On behalf of Department of History organised a one day state level workshop entitled “Recent trends in Archaeology“ on 25-08-2023. The resource person, Dr.P.Vengateswaran, Associate professor, PG and Research department of History, Govt.arts college for men, Krishnagiri delivered a special speech on titled ‘Archaelogy: Introduction for history’ and Mrs.Siva.Sathiyavalli, curator, Govt. Musuem -Tirunelveli, given a lecture on titiled ‘Archaelogy and Epigraphy. Department students organised the programme with the guidance of Dr.A.Devaraj (convenor) and Mr.S.Subramaniyan (organizing secretary) and staff members of department. In this event various college students and faculty members participated.
