Workshop on Open Source Tools for Basic Research Methods – Microbiology Dept.

Post Graduate and Research Department of Microbiology organized a workshop on “OPEN SOURCE TOOLS FOR BASIC RESEARCH METHODS”, on 28.2.2024. Dr. M. KANNAN, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, VHNSN College, Virudhunagar, served as a resource person. Dr.A.Arunachalarajan, Vice Principal, honoured the resource person. Dr. M. KANNAN, gave elaborate ideas about Open source tools that are helpful for research . He also delivered a lecture on Mendeley reference management software. He also gave a demonstration to effectively use Mendeley tool to create citation, automatic bibliography etc., which will be very helpful to students while writing dissertation. The final year PG &UG students and research scholars actively participated in the workshop. The students actively involved and gave valuable feedback about this workshop.
