Workshop on Mushroom Farming – Botany Dept.

On behalf of Botany Department, we have organised a one day workshop titled “Mushroom Farming“ on 25-08-2023. The resource person, Mrs.S.Sumathi from ICAR,SCAD, KVK, Agricultural centre, Thoothukudi delivered a special speech on the given title and gave a demo on cultivation of Mushroom. Our Principal Dr.J.Poongodi honoured the resource person with a shawl and our Vice Principal Dr.A.Ashok and Dr. T. Ponrathy, HOD of Botany gave a felicitation address to our students. Botany Department student members organised the program with the guidance of Dr.M.Muthu Sheeba (organizing secretary) and Dr.T.Kumareswari (Co- organizing secretary). Totally 130 students from the U.G and P.G departments of Botany participated and got benefited.
