Workshop on Microscale Experiments in Chemistry – Chemistry Dept.

The Department of Chemistry (SF) has organized the One day State Level Workshop on “Microscale Experiments in Chemistry” held at 15th February 2023 from 10 to 4 pm. The guest of honour was Dr. S. Murugan, Former HOD, Department of Chemistry, S.T. Hindu College, Nagercoil.
The program started with Tamizh Thaai Vazhthu. S. Supriya of II M.Sc. delivered the welcome address. The chief guest welcoming and felicitation was delivered by Dr. N. Chandra Lekha, Head of the department and the chief guest was honoured with a memento.
The session was led by Eminent speaker, Dr. S Murugan. He explained clearly about the Demo and Hands-on training in Microscale Experiments in Chemistry. He elaborated the important concept of Microscale Experiments in various aspects and highlighted the importance of Microscale Experiments in Chemistry. This workshop fulfilled the temperament of all the participants.
The mastering ceremony was done by D. Afrin Maryam and S. Supriya of II M.Sc. and the vote of thanks was delivered by D. Afrin Maryam of II M.Sc. More than 100 participants of UG and PG students actively participated and benefited.
