
Workshop on Mastering Tally: Unlocking Financial Efficiency – Commerce Dept.
On 11.03.2024 the Department of Commerce (SF) organized an introductory awareness workshop titled “Mastering Tally: Unlocking Financial Efficiency”. The workshop aimed to provide students with insights into the importance of Tally software in the current business scenario and to kickstart their journey towards mastering Tally. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Balu Thinagara, the owner of Balu Computers, a renowned figure in the field of accounting software solutions. With years of experience in the industry, Mr. Balu brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the session. He emphasized the growing importance of Tally in today’s business landscape, highlighting its role as a comprehensive accounting and financial management solution.He shared real-life examples and case studies showcasing how businesses have benefitted from implementing Tally in their operations, streamlining processes, and enhancing productivity. Students were introduced to various modules of Tally, including ledger management, inventory control, payroll processing, and taxation, underscoring the software’s versatility and adaptability to diverse business needs. He underscored the significance of acquiring Tally skills in the current job market, citing the high demand for Tally-certified professionals across industries. The workshop featured an interactive session where students had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify doubts regarding Tally software and its applications. Mr. Balu patiently addressed each query, providing valuable insights and practical tips for effective Tally usage. Whole of the department that is 826 students were beneficiaries.
