
Workshop on Impact of Transportation in Indian Economy – Dept. of Economics
The Department of Economics (SF) has conducted a One Day Workshop titled “Impact of Transportation in Indian Economy” on 10th July 2024, 10:30 AM at SF Conference Hall (GJ Block), Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. This effort was made for the students of B.A Economics to understand the role of transportation in Indian Economy. The event was conveyed by Dr. Raman , HOD of Economics (SF), Dr.Arunachala Rajan, Vice Principal, Kamaraj College honored the resource person. The welcome address was given by Ms. L.Lekha, III B.A Economics student. The resource person was introduced by Dr. M.Chandra, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics .The resource person for the session was Dr. N. Sahar Ban, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli and the program was organized by students of B.A Economics. This interactive workshop was carried for a duration of one day. The resource person gave abundant information of various means of transport and their impacts in today’s economy. At the end of the session, the students cleared their doubts with the resource person. The session concluded with the vote of thanks by E.Vishwa, III B.A Economics.
