Workshop on Fire Safety Measures and Prevention – History Dept.

The PG and Research Department of History, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, conducted a one day workshop on the topic”Fire Safety Measures and Prevention” on 25-04-2024. The Workshop started with the Introduction of the guests by Dr.A.Devaraj,Head & Associate Professor of History,Kamaraj College. Next, the Resource Person Surg. Lt.Harish Kumar, Medical Officer, Indian Coastal Guard and Mr.M.Mathan, Pradhan Yantrik, Indian Coastal Guard gave their special and specific addresses. They clearly explained to the students the fundamental features of Fire Safety and how to handle it. They also shared their own experiences in different Events of their Duty. They also shared the necessary procedure and steps face it bravely as well as how to handle it.This Workshop enabled the students with all the details of fire safety and its uses in the present mechanical and busy life. Nearly 250 students participated in this program.The students made all the arrangements of the Workshop with the guidance of Dr.A.Devaraj, Head of the History Department.This academic program was organised successfully by the History department Staff members.
