Workshop on Challenges of Women

The Department of Commerce (SF) in collaboration with One Stop Centre, Women Empowerment, Government of Tamilnadu & YRC team of Kamaraj College organized a Workshop on the Challenges of women. The guest of honour was Mrs Shelin George, Centre Administrator -One Stop Centre, Women Empowerment, Government of Tamilnadu, Thoothukudi District. This workshop was organised on 22th September, 2022.
The program started with Tamizh Thaai Vazhthu. Dr. J. Poongodi, Principal, Kamaraj College delivered the presidential address Dr. A. Arunachala Rajan, Vice Principal, felicitated the gathering with his warm words followed by the chief guest welcoming and felicitation was delivered by Dr. V. Gopalakrishnan, Head of the department and the chief guest was honoured with a token of gratitude
The session was then carried by the day’s Resource Person Mrs.Shelin George, Centre Administrator -One Stop Centre, Women Empowerment, Government of Tamilnadu, Thoothukudi District, who elaborated on women empowerment and independency. She enlightened students on respectful behaviour towards women, and she enthusiastically motivated them to have a Powerful way approach towards the wellness of their personal life and societal status enrichment. The students were engaged with practical activities of enlightenment.
A.F. Ashwin of III B.COM A proposed the Vote of Thanks. The Session came to an end with National Anthem More than 210 Participate participated zealfully and benefited. The beneficiaries were UG First year students.
