Workshop on Career Development: Empower Your Skills – Dept. of BBA

The Department of Business Administration has organised a Workshop on Career Development : Empower Your Skills on 29th July 2024 was a highly successful event, benefiting 130 students. The session commenced with Tamil Thai Valthu, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. R. Karuppasamy, Head of the Department and Chief guest address was given by K-masso President Y.Yuva Shai Priya of 3rd BBA. The Chief Guest, Dr.C.S.Purnima, Guest Lecturer , Founder and Trainer of Edify Solutions, Thoothukudi delivered an inspiring keynote speech, adding immense value to the seminar, and was honoured with a shawl and Momento.The sessions on resume building, interview skills, networking strategies, and personal branding, delivered by industry experts, were insightful and engaging. The interactive nature of the seminar allowed students to gain practical advice. The event concluded with a thoughtful summary by Vice Treasurer Ms.S.Nivetha of II BBA (SL), who highlighted key takeaways and expressed gratitude to all involved. Overall, the seminar was immensely beneficial, leaving students more confident and better prepared for their future careers. The Department Joint Secretary Ms.G.Kenisha (II BBA) skillfully managed the event as the Master of Ceremonies.
