The Mass Coastal Cleaning Campaign organised in connection with World Oceans Day 2025 by the Ocean Society of India, Thoothukudi City Municipal Corporation and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thoothukudi on 08.06.2025 (Sunday). It was funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, M/s RSPL Gujarat. Dr.R.Karuppasamy, NSS Programme Officer, Unit 218, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi participated as Chief Guest and inuagurated the campaign. The NSS Volunteers of Unit 218 also participated and collected the waste from seashore. Totally 1000Kg waste was collected.
