World’s Environmental Day

On (05.06.2025) for World’s Environmental Day we have conducted a Rally with ongoing batch Photography & Videography students.

In this Rally Shri. Santhosh, Sub Inspector Of Police, Muthiahpuram Police Station, Thoothukudi participated as a safety officer and explained about the importance of Environment protection. He encouraged the students to plant one tree on this special day as a good deed.

Chief guests Shri. Karuppasamy, Head of the Department of shipping and Logistics, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi & Shri. Vanniyaraj, Treasurer of Youth Red Cross, Thoothukudi participated in the world Environment Day program, and gave a speech about Reuse, Recycle and Importance of protecting the environment. And Director Shri. K. Jebanesar Gnaniah told the students small acts like Planting trees, avoiding plastic and using cloth bags will make a big difference in the environment.

As a special moment of this Year’s World Environment Day Shri. Mohan Dass, Assistant Engineer, Corporation Office Thoothukudi Planted a Sapodilla Tree at the RSETI Premises.

“On this World Environment Day, let’s be the reason Earth smiles a little more.”
