Webinar on Nanoscale Semiconductor Device Modelling and Simulation using NanoDCAL Software – Physics Dept.

The Department of Physics has organized a live webinar on nanomaterials and nanoelectronics modeling and simulation using Rescu and NanoDcal software on February 9, 2024, which employs quantum mechanics’ principles in cutting-edge technologies. The webinar started with welcome address. Mrs. S. Iswariya, II M.Sc. Physics, delivered the welcome speech, and Dr. R. Mariyal Jebasty, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, introduced the resource person, Er. Deepak Upadhyay, Application Engineer, Impulse Technology, Haryana. He demonstrated nanoscale semiconductor device simulation by the DFT+NEGF quantum transport method using NanoDCAL software from Nano academics Technologies and its application in current and future technology. This webinar has given an industrial interaction to the participants, who were from various colleges and our students. From this webinar, a total of 56 participants benefited.
