Webinar on Basic Principles of Intellectual Property Rights in India – Chemistry Dept. & IQAC

PG and research department of Chemistry & Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized a webinar on “Basic Principles of Intellectual Property rights in India” on 23rd February 2023 by Mr. M. Madan Raj, Examiners of Patents and Designs, Intellectual Property Office, Chennai through Google meet.
The purpose of this event was to introduce Intellectual Property Rights and its roles. Mr. M. Madhan Raj, IPR officer, gave an informative talk on the topic “Innovation and IPRs. ”. His speech highlighted the vulnerable status of India in terms of patent applications filed. From the need of IPRs to the exclusively easy steps to file a patent application, todays talk had it all. Total 50 participants attended the session.
