NSS Unit Nos. 54 & 56 celebrated Vijay Diwas to recall the victory of India over Pakistan in 1971 on 16th December, 2021. Lt. Col. M. Sundaram (Retd), Honorary Lieutenant A. Chellappa (Madras Regiment) and his wife Smt. Shanmuga Sundari were the guests of honour. Lt. Col. M. Sundaram narrated the history of Indo Pakistan war. Hony Lt A. Chellappa, participant of the 1971 Indo Pak war, shared his own experience and how his wife supported him in such a difficult time. Dr. X.Helan Flora emphasised how such celebration helps to inculcate the feeling of patriotism among the students. Hav. Sagu from 29(TN) Indep coy NCC also took part in this event. 151 students participated.
