Vagamon Field Trip – Programme Overview

The PG & Research Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, organized a one-day Vagamon Field Trip on 11 February 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. The educational excursion was arranged to provide students with practical exposure beyond classroom learning and to foster environmental awareness, cultural understanding, and team bonding.

Students began their journey early in the morning and reached Vagamon, a scenic hill station in the Idukki district of Kerala. Known for its lush greenery, cool climate, and tranquil landscapes, Vagamon offered an ideal setting for experiential learning.
