
Union Budget 2025-26: A Special Screening and Analysis Session – Commerce Dept.
The Department of Commerce (SF), Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, successfully organized a special event titled “Union Budget 2025-26: A Special Screening and Analysis Session” to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the Indian Union Budget 2025-26. The event was attended by 67 students, who had the unique opportunity to witness the live screening of the Union Budget 2025-26. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of economic policies, financial planning, and government initiatives, helping them relate theoretical concepts to real-world applications. The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Dr. V. Gopalakrishnan, setting the stage for an informative session. Following this, the live screening of the Union Budget 2025-26 was conducted, allowing students to observe key financial announcements, policy changes, and economic strategies introduced by the Government of India. After the screening, a detailed discussion and analysis session was held, where faculty members provided insights into various aspects of the budget, such as taxation policies, economic growth measures, sector-wise allocations, and fiscal policies.
