Tree and Palmyra Seed Plantation – NSS Unit: 218

Tree and Palmyra Seed Plantation organized by National Service Scheme, Unit No.218, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi and ICAR-Central Maritime Research Institute, Tuticorin Regional Station, Thoothukudi on 19.10.2023. The National Service Scheme, Unit No.218 organised a Tree and Palmyra Seed Plantation Campaign in association with the ICAR-Central Maritime Research Institute, Tuticorin Regional Station, Thoothukudi on 19.10.2023 at their campus. Dr.Ranjith, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CMFRI has inuagurated the event by planting a Palmyra Seed. Mr.M.Chirstopher, Coordinator, We Can Trust made a wonderful field arrangement for successfully completing the plantation. Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Program-Officer, NSS Unit No.218, Kamaraj College has effectively coordinated the entire work. Totally 36 Volunteers of our college participated and have done a remarkable achievement by planting 300 Palmyra Seed.
