Training Program for Master Trainers of Youth Survey for Not in Formal Education or Not in Regular Employment – NSS Unit 218

Participation in the Training Program for Master Trainers of Youth Survey for Not in Formal Education or Not in Regular Employment organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports & Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, New Delhi held on 15.03.2023. From the NSS Unit No.218, Dr. R. Karuppasamy, Program Officer has participated as a Master Trainer in the Training Program of Youth Survey for Not in Formal Education or Not in Regular Employment organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports & Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, New Delhi held at Dr.B.R.Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi on 15.03.2023. Totally 300 NSS Program Officers from all over India was selected for the Master Trainer Training Program. From Southern Region, there was selected only thirteen Program Officers from the Tamilnadu, Kerala, Pondicherry and Andaman. He is one the program officer from the Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi for representing the Southern Region and Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. The Survey was primarily initiated to study the current status of youngsters from 15 to 29 years those who are not studied in formal education or not in regular employment. By giving training to the NSS Volunteers with help of Master Trainers, This survey will be executed and completed successfully. Followed by Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Program Officer, NSS Unit No.218 has started his training program for NSS Volunteers with the NSS Camp at Ottanatham Village which is organized by the NSS Unit No.32, St.Xavier’s College, Palayamkottai on 24.03.2023. He trained and motivated 35 volunteers for executing the survey in their village.
