Students Induction Programme – First Year SF Students
Kamaraj College (Autonomous) organized the Students Induction Programme for the academic year 2025–2026 from 18.06.2025 to 27.06.2025. The programme was a remarkable success, drawing enthusiastic participation from students eager to begin their academic journey.
Professors from various departments shared insights on the importance of setting and pursuing academic and personal goals within the college.
Dr. G. Anantharaj, Head of the Department of Physical Education, delivered a two-hour session titled “Vision of Sports”, highlighting the vision and mission of sports and motivating students to actively engage in physical activities.
Dr. V. Gopalakrishnan, Head of the Department of Commerce, addressed students on “Know Your College”, emphasizing the importance of following institutional rules and guidelines.
Dr. J. Alangara Ashok, Head of the Placement Cell, delivered a session on “Build Your Career”, outlining the various career opportunities and placement support offered by the college.
Dr. S. Balamurugan, Website In-Charge, presented a thought-provoking lecture titled “Media and Website”, where he elaborated on how the college media platform serves as a central source of information and updates.
Mrs. Jinduja, Assistant Coordinator of IQAC, spoke on “Club Activities & Certificate Courses”, encouraging students to showcase their talents through club involvement and to benefit from the various certificate courses available.
Programme officers from the NCC, NSS, and YRC also addressed the students, underlining the value of service to the nation and community.
The Students Induction Programme provided a meaningful and informative platform for newcomers, helping them build confidence and clarity as they begin their academic journey at Kamaraj College.
