Report on Students Council Inauguration
Students Council Inauguration was organized by the Department of Economics (SF) and Public Administration, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, on 11 August 2026 at 11.30 a.m. The programme marked the formal introduction of the newly constituted Students Council and encouraged students to develop leadership, responsibility and organizational skills.
Dr. G. Anantharaj, Head and Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, inaugurated the programme. His presence added significance to the occasion and motivated the newly elected office bearers to carry out their responsibilities with commitment.
Welcome Address
The programme began with the welcome address delivered by Dr. S. Raman, Head and Assistant Professor, Department of Economics (SF) and Public Administration. He welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of student leadership in strengthening academic and departmental activities.
Moreover, he encouraged students to make effective use of the opportunities provided through the Students Council. Such responsibilities help students develop confidence, teamwork and decision-making abilities.
Objectives of the Students Council
