State Level Seminar on Open Access E-Resources in Social Studies – History Dept.

The PG and Research Department of History, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi, organised a State Level Seminar on the topic”Open Access E- Resources in Social Studies” on 23-04-2024. The inauguration of the Seminar started with the lighting of lamp by Kamaraj College, Principal Dr.J. Poonkodi .Next, Dr.G.Ravi, Head and Associate Professor of History, from VHNSN College gave the inaugural Address. The chief Speaker was Dr.S.M.Rojapoo, Assistant professor of History, St.Mary’ s College, Thoothukudi. The Speaker elaborately elucidated on the basic concepts of E.Resources and ensured the learning materials available in it. She also shared the necessary procedure for it. This Seminar facilitated the students with all the details of learning and its impact in the contemporary world. Nearly 250 students got benefitted by this program.The students made the arrangements of it with the guidance of Dr.A.Devaraj, Head of the History Department. This academic program was organised successfully by the History department Staff members.
