காமராஜ் கல்லூரி தமிழ்த் துறை, காமராசர் கலை இலக்கியக் கழகம் அருட்பெருஞ்ஜோதி அகவல் அறக்கட்டளையோடு இணைந்து மாவட்ட அளவிலான கல்லூரிகளுக்கு இடையேயான பேச்சுப் போட்டியை நடத்தினர். துறைத் தலைவர் வரவேற்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார். 17 கல்லூரிகளைச் சார்ந்த 52 மாணாக்கர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர். இதில் வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களுக்கு முறையே 5000 ,3000 ,2000 என பரிசுத் தொகை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. நடுவர்களாக பேராளர்கள் சங்கரலிங்கம் ,சுந்தர் சிங் ஓய்வு பெற்ற ஆசிரிய பெருமக்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்பித்தனர்.மேலும் கலந்து கொண்ட அனைவருக்கும் புத்தகப் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. முதல்வர், துணை முதல்வர் அறிவுரைப்படி இந்நிகழ்வு நடைபெற்றது.தமிழ்த்துறைப் பேராசிரியர்கள் மாணாக்கர்கள்ஒருங்கிணைந்து இந்நிகழ்வினை நடத்தினர்
