Soft Skill Programme – Dept. of Economics

The Departments of Economics (SF) has organized a one-day Soft Skill Programme on 06 September 2024. The event took place at Bharathiyar Block, Hall no. 311, and was specifically designed to help B.A Economics students develop knowledge and skills for competitive exams.The programme was conveyed by Dr. S. Raman, Head of the Department of Economics (SF). Dr. K. Anitha introduced the resource person, Mr. M. Selvakumar, B.E., Junior Assistant in the School Education Department, Thoothukudi. The Resourceperson was honoured by Dr. Arunachala Rajan, Vice Principal, Kamaraj College Thoothukudi. The event was organized by the students of B.A Economics and was attended by students from both the B.A Economics and Public Administration programs.Mr. Selvakumar delivered an in-depth session on competitive exams, with a particular focus on the TNPSC Group Exams. He emphasized the importance of preparation and hard work. The interactive session allowed students to engage directly with the resource person, clearing their doubts and gaining valuable insights into exam strategies. The total number of participants for this session is 78. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from M.Keerthana, III B.A Economics student.
