Seminar on India Vision for Development @2K47 – Economics Dept.

The Department of Economics SF & Public Administration has conducted a National Seminar titled “INDIA VISION FOR DEVELOPMENT @2K47” on 28/03/2024. This seminar was conveyed by Dr. S. RAMAN, Assistant Professor & HOD of Economics(SF),Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. He gave the Welcome Address for the Seminar. Presidential Address was given by DR.J.POONGODI, Principal, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. The Chief Guest for the First Session of the seminar is Emeritus Prof. Dr. P. ARUNACHALAM, HOD of Applied Economics, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala and Dr. C. MUTHURAJA, HOD of Economics PG & Research, The American College, Madurai. The Principal honoured the Chief Guest Emeritus Prof. Dr. P. ARUNACHALAM and Dr. C. MUTHURAJA was honoured by Dr. A. ARUNACHALA RAJAN, Vice Principal, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. The theme of this Seminar was given by Dr. (Lt.Cdr) A. ASOK, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Economics, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. First Session came to a end with a Vote of Thanks by Dr.M.CHANDRA. Emeritus Prof. Dr. P. ARUNACHALAM conducted a Seminar Titled “Ideas for the Vision VIKSIT BHARAT @2K27” and Dr. C. MUTHURAJA, conducted a session Titled “Developed India Mission 2K47”. The Second Technical Session started at 2 PM by Dr. P. PARAMASIVAM, Faculty of Economics, School of Liberal Art, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science University, Chennai has conducted a session Titled “Current Indian Economy Scenario”. The Paper Presentation commenced at 3.00 pm with total of 30 papers and the Valedictory Ceremony started with a Welcome note by Dr. C. MATHIMITHA. The certificates were issued to the participants and received feedback from the participants. There was the total number of 250 participants for this seminar. Finally the seminar came to a Conclusion with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. K. ANITHA. S. Pradavus of III BA Economics did the MC for this Seminar.
