Seminar on Damage Control Orthopaedics – YRC & Microbiology Dept.

Post Graduate and Research Department of Microbiology in association with Youth Red Cross (YRC) organized a seminar on “DAMAGE CONTROL ORTHOPAEDICS” on 15th Apirl 2024 at Seminar Hall, G.J. Block. Dr. V. James Sundar Singh, M.S. Ortho., D.Ortho., Assistant professor, Department of orthopaedics, Thoothukudi Government Medical College and Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon, Arputham Hospitals, Tuticorin., accepted our invitation and was graced as the Chief Guest. M. Mariselvi of II B.Sc. gave the welcome address. Dr. S. Abirami, Head of the Department of Microbiology, inaugurated the program and honored the chief guest. R. Hemanath of II B.Sc. introduced the Resource Person. Dr. V. James Sundar Singh delivered the brief seminar about damage control orthopedics. The students actively participated in the seminar and gained knowledge on giving first aid for different traumas and life threatening situations.
