Sapling Distribution Programme – Commerce Dept & NSS Units: 241, 242, 243

A Sapling Distribution Programme was organised by the Department of Commerce (SF), in association with the Green Club and NSS Units (241, 242 and 243) of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, on 26 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Department of Commerce (SF). The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and encourage a sense of responsibility towards nature among the faculty members. As part of this initiative, 50 saplings were distributed to the faculty members, encouraging them to contribute to environmental conservation and the development of a greener campus. The programme highlighted the importance of planting and nurturing trees to protect the environment and maintain ecological balance. The initiative reflected the institution’s commitment to promoting a green campus, a clean environment, and a sustainable future.
