Role of Citizen in Democracy

In commemoration of the National Voters Day Celebration, Kamaraj College NSS units no-54&56 organized a webinar on the topic- “Role of Citizen in Democracy”  on 25-01-2022. All the NSS students participated in it. The NSS Coordinator, from M. S. University, Dr.P.Arumugam gave the Keynote address and told about the roles of Citizens in the present Scenario and what a student should do as his part in the development of our country. The Principal of the College, Dr. D. Nagarajan delivered the Presidential address. Mr. S. Seranthaiah, Senior Revenue Inspector, and J.Saravanavelraj, Revenue Inspector, felicitated the meeting with their ideas & views on the importance of the role played by a student in the family and society.

Next, Thiru. A. Justine Chelladurai, Tahsildhar, and M.Prabhakaran, Deputy Tahsildar gave their speech on the importance of Students and their key role in a democratic country like India. Ms.S.Dhanushya ( l B.Com) also delivered a speech on the ” Role of a  Citizen in democracy “Thus the students were confirmed and approved of their importance. The welcome address was delivered by S.Divya, an  NSS Volunteer, and a vote of thanks was given by S.Jeya Prabha, an NSS Volunteer. All the students found this program very thought-provoking as it kindled, their Patriotic feelings.
