
Research Methodology – An Interdisciplinary Approach
The P.G & Research Department of History conducted a National Level seminar on the Topic “Research Methodology – An Interdisciplinary Approach” on 14.11.2022. The welcome address was given by V.Durga (lll B.A. History). The Presidential Address and the lighting of the lamp were done by Dr. J. Poongodi, Principal-in-charge, Kamaraj College. The technical session started with the speech of Dr.Bennet Rajadurai, Assistant Professor of Sociology, St. Francis De Sales College, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on the topic – Basics of Research Methodology. The second session was occupied by the exciting speech of Prof. Augustin Joseph, Assistant Professor of Psychology from Krupanidhi Degree College, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The feast of knowledge was uninterrupted and it exalted the students and Research Scholars from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala whose strength was more than 150. Research scholars and faculties from various neighboring districts also participated and enjoyed the seminar.
Dr. Kasirajan, principal of Mano College of Arts and Science, Nagampatti gave a valedictory address and distributed the certificates. The seminar came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. S.Marimuthu, organizing secretary, Assistant Professor of History. P.G & Research Department of History, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. The program was coordinated and well organized by the students with the guidance of the staff members of the Department.
