Quantum Materials and Nanoparticles for Advanced Applications

An International Webinar On Quantum Materials And Nanoparticles for Advanced Applications was organized by the Department of Physics (SF), Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi on 6th August 2020. The webinar was conducted through Zoom online platform. The Resource person for the webinar were Prof. Binay Kumar, Crystal Lab, Department of Physics & Astrophysics, University of Delhi, and Dr. Magesh Murugesan, Postdoctoral Researcher, National Taiwan , University ,Taiwan. The webinar started at 1.30 pm. The welcome address was given by Dr.U.Rajesh Kannan, Programme Convener and Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi. The webinar was inaugurated by the Principal Dr.D.Nagarajan. Prof. Binay Kumar delivered his speech on the topic “Nanoparticles and Single Crystals for Piezoelectric Green Energy” between 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm. Dr. Magesh Murugesan delivered his speech on the topic “Synthesis and crystals growth of quantum materials for advance application” between 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm There were 760 participants from, Tamilnadu, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telagana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, , Chandigarh, Orissa, Kerala, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Assam, Odisha, Puducherry, West Bengal, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Andrapradesh. The webinar ended with the vote of thanks given by the program Convener.
