Heavy water plant, Thoothukudi conducted a public awareness Program for our Chemistry students about the activites of Department of Atomic energy from 1.30 to 3.30 pm at Seminar Hall , GN block on 07/02/25. Dr D. Kanagavel, Associate Professor of Chemistry organized the program along with the students coordinators. Dr.A Asok, Vice-Principal welcomed the dignitaries. Dr. S Sugumar, Incharge (PC & AL) of Heavy water plant, Thoothukudi, gave basic theories about Atomic energy and its applications of Heavy water. Mrs.Rajeswari, Scientific officer, HWP, discussed about the job opportunities at DAE. They conducted a quiz Program and distributed 20 prizes for the winners Our Students actively participated and received Prizes. Dr.K.Arun Prasath Lingam delivered the vote of thanks.
