Poetry Writing & Book Reading Competitions – English Dept.

On 25 March, 2025 the Phoenix Literary Association of the PG & Research Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi conducted a Poetry Writing competition. Four students of the department participated with enthusiasm. This competition was conducted to encourage the habit of poetry writing which expands the knowledge and improves their language skills. The purpose of the competition is to stimulate, encourage and activate writing on a continuous basis, and to emphasis the importance of poetry writing among students. From this,students will develop a love for writing poems. The student coordinator T. Samuel Theodore from II MA English conducted the competition. The prize winners are First: T. Jude Santhosh Raj of II M.A. English, Second: P. Antony Sanchai of II M.A. English, Third: M. Karthik of II M.A. English.
