Introduction
The Photography Workshop titled “Behind the Story: A Photography and Videography Workshop” was successfully organized by the Department of Visual Communication of Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi on 28 July 2026 and 29 July 2026.
The workshop was conducted to provide students with practical exposure to photography, videography, visual storytelling, camera handling, composition, lighting and video production. A total of 40 students actively participated in the two day workshop and benefited from the expert guidance and demonstrations.
Objectives of the Workshop
The Photography Workshop was organized to enhance the creative and technical skills of Visual Communication students.
The major objectives of the workshop were:
