Orientation Programme on Internship

The Department of Computer Science [SF], Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi, organized an Orientation Programme on Internship on 29th October 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at the C. V. Raman Seminar Hall.
The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of internships, industry expectations, practical exposure, and career development. The session was handled by the resource person, Dr. P. Ravindran, ME, PhD, MD, Renechip and COO, Digisailor.
During the session, the resource person highlighted the significance of internships in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience. He explained the various opportunities available through internships, the skills expected by industries, workplace ethics, professional communication, teamwork, and the importance of developing technical and employability skills. Dr.S.Senthil motivated students to make effective use of internship opportunities to enhance their future career.
The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by an introduction of the resource person. Ms. Bala Valli, II MCA, served as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the programme
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
The orientation programme was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. G. Sophana, Head, Department of Computer Science [SF], with the support of Dr. S. Jinduja, Organising Secretary. The programme served as a valuable platform for preparing students for their upcoming internship experiences and future career opportunities.
