Orientation Programme for NSS Volunteers – NSS Unit: 218

The National Service Scheme, Unit No.218 organised the Orientation Programme for NSS Volunteers at Seminar Hall on 20.01.2024. Welcome Address was given by Dr.R.Karuppasamy, Programme Officer, NSS Unit 218. Under the headship of Principal Dr.J.Poongodi, Our Vice Principal Dr.A.Arunachala Rajan has delivered the presidential address. Followed by the chief guest Dr.A.Veliappan, Programme Coordinator, National Service Scheme, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli has delivered the speech on Introduction and History of NSS. And then the special guest Dr.V.Arul Murugan has given such an excellent lecture on Role of NSS volunteers in Nation Building. After the orientation programme, the sapling was planted in the college campus by the guests. The NSS Volunteers Mr.Madasamy-I BA Tamil and Mr.Jeevan Brightsingh-II BBA Shipping and Logistics successfully coordinated the entire programme.
