Orientation Program – Aided Students (First Year)

The orientation programme for the first year UG students was held on the opening day (27.06.2024) at Kamarajar Kalvi Arangam from 11.00am to 01.00p.m. The program started with Tamilthai Vazhthu followed by College prayer song. As a token of motivating the students from the first day the students with highest marks scored at +2 level in each classes (one boy and one girl) were given a mementoe. Principal Dr.J.Poongodi delivered a special lecture about the College. She spelled out the Dos and Don’ts for the students to be followed inside and outside the campus as a Student of Kamaraj College focusing on the discipline, personality and other attitudes. Dr.M.Navaneethakrishnan, HOD of Mathematics and Dr.A.Asok, Vice-Principal & HOD of Economics briefed about the facilities and opportunities in the campus. Mr.P.Saravanan, Superintendent gave the basic data about the College for the students. Dr.T.Jackuline Brindha, Dr.K.Bhanumathi, Dr.A.Kalaiyarasi briefed about the DOs and Don’t’s exclusively for the Girl students. The program was coordinated by the HOD of English Mrs.S.Remona.
