One Day Workshop on SET/NET/GATE – English Dept.

On 4th March 2024, the PG & Research Department of English (SF), Kamaraj College, Thoothukudi organised One-day Workshop on SET/NET/GATE. The program began with the Invocation. Dr. R. Siva Ramakrishnan, Assistant Professor of English, Rani Anna Government College for Women, Tirunelveli was the resource person. T. Aariya of I MA English hosted the program. G. Latika Devi of I BA English delivered the welcome address and R. Sahaya Inba Sahitha of I BA English felicitated the resource person. Dr. R. Siva Ramakrishnan , who is a academician cum trainer. He has trained more than 100 students to clear the National Eligibility Test as well as the Junior Research Fellowship through his guidance. He initiated his talk by giving awareness to our students about the competitive exams like SET/NET/GATE/JRF. He then explained in detail about the syllabus for NET. He introduced popular literary terms, theories and concepts to the students with interesting visual clips. The session was effective and informative. Finally the session came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Arunachalam of II BA English, followed by the National anthem.
